I've been collecting Sentinel fan fiction for more than ten years but recently I lost or wiped out a compact flash card and I am trying to reconstruct what I lost. I've started going author by author at 852 Prospect to retrieve my lost fics.

Currently I am looking for a fic about Blair helping Major Crimes win a Cascade PD talent show by fronting a band.

My request is bit picky, but at the same time I don't have any specific story in mind - gimme anything that fits the requirements, a genre as a whole. So the fic should fit by these points -

# Slash. (Jim/Blair obviously)
# I'd prefer that Blair is somewhere safe and sound and that Jim's somewhere off and made believe that Blair's dead.
# Somehow/someway Jim is convinced that Blair's dead (the other characters don't matter that much to me, so they could believe or not)

I have to ask for a favor...

I read a story in which Jim has the idea that Blair would be better off without him (I don't remember WHY): for instance, Blair could have gotten his doctorate, had Jim not been in his life (or so I seem to remember...) SORRY FOR THE LENGTH ; )

So, Jim is watching television on the couch, while Blair is sleeping (on the couch, too, if I'm correct); Jim then (dreams) Incacha (or a ghost? or a spirit?).
(Incacha) SHOWS TO JIM HOW BLAIR'S LIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN WITHOUT JIM: that' s sort of that Christmas tale by Dickens with the ghost of the past, future and present Christmases (sorry, don't recall the name, I'm not English/American...). I don't know if the story takes place on Christma time, but I clearly remember this thing with past/future/present.

I REMEMBER: BLAIR is in his study at the U, he's saying that he's all alone, and his colleagues laugh at him 'cause he could never find a way to sustain his theories about Sentinels (because he never found Jim...). Jim sees Blair has a gun and cries:"Don't, Chief": Blair whispers :" I heard something..." But then he doesn't hear anything anymore, because Jim can't be neither seen nor heard. Blair takes the gun and commits suicide.

In that instant, JIM IS IN THE LOFT, AND THE SPIRIT (INCACHA?) SHOWS HIM HOW WILL THE FUTURE CHRISTMASES BE IF JIM REMAINS IN BLAIR'S LIFE: an older version of jim and blair enters the loft carrying the groceries (I think), and they talk, smile...

Then Jim awakes on the couch and sees that tv screen is blank (or dark?!) and he understands.

I'm looking for a story where blair graduates from the police academy and he and Jim are going home to have sex and Jim is listening to some sports game using super hearing by listening in on other peoples radios and tv's and telling blair whats going on

one where blair and jim live in a small community after blairs paper gets out and jim finds out that alcohol dulls his senses enough so that blair can top him without his senses going haywire

one where jim and blair are having sex and jim says that in the army he was topped with guys of various ranks

they might even be by the same author but may brain is just stuck!

I am looking for a fic I had admired and saved but lost. Jim and Blair go undercover to a party to catch a bad guy who likes guys dressed as cheerleaders so Blair dresses up as a cheerleader with the sweater, short cheerleader skirt and blue tights.

A summary (taken from a random delicious account): "Blair's a serial profiler with a deadly stalker coming after him. Jim is the bodyguard hired to protect him. Along the way, they learn to accept what the other is... and more"

I know Lussier's fiction was posted on a GeoCities site and that some of it was available through the wayback machine- this is, unfortunately, not the case with "Between". So if anybody know of another address or possibly has it saved – God bless you.

I'm searching for a fic by BCW. The story is called Sir Wolfe, and is based on the movie, LadyHawke. Basically, Jim is a panther by night, and Blair is a wolf by day and they're humans when the other is an animal. It was originally on geocities, but is now down. The wayback machine only has the first chapter. I was wondering if anyone had a copy of it. Thanks.

Do you ever get it when a scene or a snatch of song lyric or something just pops into your head & you immediately have to track it down? I do. It drives me nuts.

Anyway here is an extremely vague search, so if you can help I would be very grateful.

I think it's a first time story though it could be pre-slash. I think it takes place at Christmas, but it's possible that it's actually Blair's birthday. I remember that it mentions how when Blair first moved in Jim had no idea what to get him for whichever occasion it was so he got him a book voucher ($100? that seems to ring a bell) and expected him to be underwhelmed. Instead Blair was incredibly overjoyed to get it because no one ever thinks to get him books & he's a grad student - books are expensive. So since then it's become a thing that every Christmas/birthday/whichever it was Jim always gets him this book token along with the other gifts.

Thats all I can remember for sure from this fic. I think it goes on aboiut the other nice things he does for Blair for Birthdays/Christmas, a lot of them just little subtle things like tuning up his car, etc but then I could be mixing it up with another fic there.

So, like I said, pretty damn vague. But I had to ask as the other option is me staying up until I pass out from exhaustion trying to find it myself :)

So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.

So I just read some of the recs for the Crossover search which was done here earlier, and I find that I absolutely adore NCIS/Sentinel crossovers (I just finished Belladonna's series which was NCIS/Sentinel/Due South and adored it.) I'm not new to the Sentinel scene, but I am to the NCIS fanfiction. I've watched a lot of NCIS but not read a lot about it.

So here's my request, you best, favorite, cracky-ist NCIS/Sentinel crossover fanfiction, anything goes. I prefer slash and my Fav pairings are Jim/Blair and DiNozzo/Gibbs, but I will read anything as long as it doesn't pair one of my fav couples ultimately with other people or with females, so Gen fics are cool. Other pairings in the story are also enjoyed so please rec me some good fics. thanks!

I'm trying to find a series I enjoyed reading several years ago. I remember it was on the writer's own page and not an archive.

In one fic Blair is quietly complaining that although he's not a cop he is still required to join in police activities. Blair is referring to a blood bank donation he has to attend at the CPD despite him already donating at Rainier U. Simon overhears him and together with Jim, other cops and the higher ups they get him a badge as a Special Consultant Detective (or something like it). He gains a CPD paycheck, is considered a Detective but is still a civilian employee. I think? I don't know where the series fit in canon but Blair is still a teacher at Rainier U. At one point he meets Joel's daughter (coming home from college?) and they start to date. In another fic Blair is forced to shoot a rapist at Rainier U, it's his first time firing a weapon and using his authority as a cop. In another fic he's being hassled by a student. Joel and his wife (she's taking a few classes at RU) keeps calling Blair Detective to make the student think and back off.

Any ideas? *FOUND*
